OneMinJr: Young Ukrainians speak out on HIV/AIDS

KYIV, Ukraine, 7 June 2010 – Fifteen children aged between 12 and 18 from across Ukraine have gathered in the capital Kyiv this week to participate in a OneMinutesJr video workshop. UNICEF and the NGO “All-Ukrainian Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS” invited them to tell their stories by producing short films on HIV/AIDS.

HRH Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway urges young Ukrainians to raise their voices

Kyiv, 30 June 2012 – UNAIDS Goodwill Ambassador, Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway, appeals to the Ukrainian youth to join the fight against HIV. In her video message broadcasted on the Ukrainian television, she encourages youth to get knowledge on HIV and spread it, support people living with HIV to let them feel that they are part of the community, and take action to end stigma and discrimination against people affected by the epidemic.
